Verdict

HARARE created a shock when storming away from General Tufto in a similar race at Beverley last week and a 6lb penalty would be nowhere near enough to prevent a follow-up if in the same kind of form. Fair Breeze won over the C&D last month and didn't enjoy the much softer ground at Bath subsequently. She has very little to spare at the weights over runner-up Into The Wind though neither look quite good enough. Ermyntrude is consistent enough but is climbing the weights without winning and though Wrecking Crew is consistent enough a strike-rate of 1-25 tells its own story.
