Lowry's Art showed improved form when racing in a handicap for the first time when last seen in September and Ralph Beckett's filly has to be respected but it may be worth taking a chance with handicap newcomer New Minerton, who gets the vote with One Called Alice rated the pick of the remainder. The selection showed only a limited amount of ability in her three starts as a juvenile but there could be more to come now that she goes handicapping and Rod Millman's filly looks potentially well treated for her debut in this grade. Grand Value is similarly lightly raced and also makes her debut in a handicap but she is less likely to handle the cut in the ground. Amber Ridge needs to improve on all known form, while Magical Song has claims on the pick of his form but is inconsistent and may now be a shade high in the weights. Tenth Night has been given a chance by the handicapper and has to be respected along with One Called Alice, who has been running better of late. In a moderate contest it is handicap newcomer New Minerton that gets the verdict.
