    Verdict

Gemini Ahhs was strongly fancied for a weak affair at Exeter yesterday and his participation here may depend on whether or not he had a hard race. An easy winner at Plumpton earlier this month, Fergal O'Brien has booked a 7lb claimer in case his charge carries an additional penalty and he would have to be respected if turning up. But POWER PACK JACK hinted at a revival at Leicester last month and, though quirky, may just be good enough to defy top weight here if he's in the mood. Loughalder finished behind the selection at Ludlow last month but has won since at Chepstow and makes more appeal than Southwell second Pretty Penny, who will be carrying 6lb more than her allotted weight. It's difficult to understand what Emma Soda has done to earn her current handicap mark.
