Cane Cat has been well placed to land five low-grade races and is perfectly capable of winning this but it's a concern that she planted herself at the start when favourite at Nottingham on Thursday after scoring on soft ground at Leicester. Reaction won a three-runner seller at Lingfield last month and has since been well beaten over hurdles while Climaxfortackle is still a maiden on Turf. Cuckoo Rock was beaten 15l into second in an amateurs' race at Newbury on Thursday and was earlier behind CIRCLE OF ANGELS at Chepstow when Ian Williams' filly was only caught in the closing stages on her first start since December. The latter looks ready to score again with Finch Flyer looking best of the remainder with Silvestre De Sousa booked.
