Loch Ba is lightly-raced and made a very promising start to his chase career when winning by 17 lengths at Kempton. He was undoubtedly flattered by that success, however, and probably wouldn't have won had leader Autumm Spirit not crashed out at the last. Off a 6lb higher mark, Henrietta Knight's charge is taken on here with ARDKILLY REBEL. The latter showed some promise in four runs over hurdles but has always looked a chaser in the making and now gets his chance over the larger obstacles. Llama Farmer has never fulfilled early promise over fences, while Deputy Dog disappointed when favourite at Newton Abbot when last seen in May and is now blinkered. Jacko's Boy scraped home at Market Rasen 10 days ago but has a 7lb penalty here and is now upped in class.
