Brousse En Feux's rise in the weights makes her vulnerable and preference is for Omme Antique with fellow handicap debutants Baseball Ted and Nil Bleu of keen interest but this trip is on the short side for Phardessa. Brousse En Feux is 23lbs higher than when first successful but Omme Antique is completely unexposed after just five career starts. He has rarely threatened to trouble the principals but he should handle the ground, starts his handicap career at a realistic level and caught the eye on his latest start behind Spectait. Baseball Ted was pulled up in a race won by Group Captain last time but he showed ability on debut and was sent off as favourite on his second outing; he should be at home in this company. The market should guide in respect to that pair's chances and to those of Nil Bleu who can be expected to improve on the form he's shown so far.
