In depth

Verdict

Everymanforhimself showed a return to form last time out and can take this at the exspense of Shes Minnie and Spanish Ace. James Given's charge won off a mark of 92 this time last year and so his current rating of 84 looks very tempting. His recent third behind Tombi at Ripon reads well and this could be his day to return to the winners enclosure. Shes Minnie would probably prefer a bit of cut in the ground, but still has to be considered after a game win last time out. Spanish Ace is one that could go close at decent odds. He went close at Beverley iin May off a three pound higher mark and wasn't beaten too far at Chester last Saturday. Whitbarrow has earned top-weight with some decent efforts this season and looks the best of the others, however Everymanforhimself looks the pick of the weights this afternoon and he gets the nod.
