Verdict

Best to tread extremely warily here as the 11 runners have yet to muster a single success between them. NARBOROUGH is the token choice as he is consistent in this modest grade which is more than can be said for the majority of his opponents. He stayed on to some effect after being hampered to claim the minor placing at Catterick last time and should surely get in the mix if handling ground on which he's unproven. Clear Focus posted a best effort to date when beaten less than a length last time at Wolverhampton and rates a contender on that evidence under the promising Jenny Powell. Brean Splash Susie hails from a yard that does well with its sprinters and is a possible in such a weak race along with Little Briar Rose.
