In depth

Verdict

Hopeful Start was clearly in need of the run when well beaten on his chase debut at Exeter. This is less competitive and Jonjo O'Neill's charge won twice over 3m on easy ground over hurdles last season. But the going will hold no fears for GLENWOOD KNIGHT either and the seven-year-old, who jumped well on his fencing bow, is taken to build on his second at Hexham now tackling a more suitable trip. Silent Cliche was clear of the remainder when second at Wetherby last month but will need more here if he's to break his duck under Rules.
