Verdict

Rappel D'Estruval shaped well on debut but there are some interesting newcomers in this line-up and a chance is taken with ANY THE WISER ahead of Running Upthathill. Tom George's charge is a half-brother to the talented Jazz D'Estruval and should win races in time but the Chepstow form hasn't worked out as well as might have been expected so he could be worth taking on. Future Vision, Cotswold Charmer and Original Prankster all make some appeal and represent decent yards as does Running Upthathill whose half-brother showed ability in this sphere. As ever, the market will shed some light on this contest but a chance is taken with Any The Wiser who represents connections who have enjoyed plenty of success over the years. The homebred hails from a smart French family and could be an interesting contender but we may not be any the wiser until the betting is revealed.
