Verdict

The market will provide the best guide to this race but in the absence of any betting movements, we narrow the field down considering those with previous experience and the pedigree of those yet to race. Letmespeak is worth thinking about as his dam was a bumper winner and he is from a notable trainer. Milton Harris doesn't have too many winners in this category but Rose Of The Moon could build upon his runner-up effort on debut in March. Elton Fox is related to plenty of bumper winners his trainer has just had one winner in National Hunt Flat races in recent seasons. Alternatively, Lucy Wadham has a 40% record in bumpers at the course (2-5) and AVIADOR can build on two positive efforts to date to take this race. Koup De Kanon has some winning flat pedigree with Furrows a brother to bumper winner Abey M'Boy who races earlier in the card here. Music In The Air appears to be improving with each race but the biggest danger could be Royal Scoundrel who won a bumper in 2008 before an extended absence. On his reappearance earlier in the month he raced prominently before weakening in the latter stages and he may just have needed that run to bring him on. However, Aviador gets the tentative call.
