Verdict

Franklino has had plenty of chances and it's not certain that first-time blinkers will have the desired effect on Alan King's four-year-old. Baan and Redbridge Flyer would have been interesting had they had a recent run but it must be worth giving another chance to RANGEFINDER, who had a good strike rate on the Flat and was a promising second on his hurdling debut over an inadequate trip at Kelso. Still travelling well when brought down at Aintree earlier this month, he has more scope than the majority of these. Keenes Day was a winning stayer on the level for Mark Johnston but is probably best watched on his debut for Sophie Leech here after a spell on the sidelines.
