The market seemed particularly favourable about the chances of SALPIERRE at Huntingdon and that confidence was far from misplaced. Connections have elected to put headgear on him on this occasion but he should be capable of defying the 5lb rise accrued for those labours. Points Of View appeared to be a horse of considerable potential a couple of seasons ago though things have clearly not turned out as anticipated. High Ville does have the tendency to race a little more exuberantly than ideal. That said, it hasn't stopped him racking up two victories since being tried in handicaps and David Pipe's charge is an obvious danger to our selection if he can cope with a further step up in distance.
