In depth

Verdict

A few of these have a bit prove after a less than auspicious start to their chasing careers. Basford Bob has failed to complete either start over the larger obstacles, while Tornado Bob suffered a heavy fall at Haydock last month and it remains to be seen if that has affected his confidence. Mister Hyde made mistakes and never looked likely to justify his short price at Towcester last time while Court Victory, Pentiffic and Quentin Collonges all return from lengthy lay-offs. UPTHEMSTEPS beat Tricky Tree and Basford Bob over hurdles at Warwick in February and needed the outing when behind Pam Sly's gelding over fences at Wetherby last month. He can reverse that form here and get back to winning ways.
