In depth

Verdict

AL CO may benefit from stronger handling and is taken to land the feature from Oberon Moon, Award Winner and Sonny Mullen amongst others. Oberon Moon is an interesting contender on debut for Alan King as he's quite well treated on the pick of his form for Paul Nicholls and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise were he ready to rumble on his reappearance given how lightly raced he's been of late. Award Winner has been in good form over fences so clearly merits respect on his return to racing over timber as he's racing from the same mark as when last successful whilst Sonny Mullen is very interesting on the pick of his efforts and may appreciate this better ground. The ground is a slight question mark over the chances of Al Co but he has caught the eye on a number of occasions this season, including over course and distance last time where he appeared to hit a flat spot before running on again. Dougie Costello takes over from his regular partner Gerald Quinn and his experience could be crucial in getting Al Co home in front.
