In depth

Verdict

SANTO THOMAS makes his debut over the larger obstacles but doesn't look badly treated on his hurdles form and could take all the beating if his jumping holds up. Bold Tara, a winner over timber at Southwell in January, is another making her fencing bow and is possibly the danger as none of the others make a great deal of appeal. Bally Lagan at least has experience of jumping fences but has only been placed in four of his 13 career starts and has never really looked like winning. Flichity must carry 8lb more than his allotted weight.
