This low-grade handicap has attracted a big field but not many come into the race at the top of their game. LUCKY LUKEY beat subsequent winner Tiger Line at Hereford in August and it was probably a big weight that did for him at Sedgefield last month. Jennie Candlish's five-year-old has made significant progress this year and is capable of winning again of his current mark. The Fox's Decree looks the pick of Martin Keighley's pair but is still a maiden over hurdles and has twice been beaten in sellers here recently. Perth third Arisea has been found wanting over this trip in the past, but Marie De Laufon wasn't beaten far at Market Rasen last time and could make her presence felt.
