      Verdict

The booking of McCoy for WOODACRE immediately catches the eye here. He only won by half-a-length at Hereford and has a penalty to defy but is a strong-looking type who should improve further as he gains experience. Omani Rebel won on his debut over C&D in July and is another with scope while Hot Rhythm showed promise at Hereford last month. Of the newcomers, Alf The Audacious, Mac Le Couteau and Ranthambore all warrant attention if the market speaks in their favour while Who Am I represents a stable in cracking form.
