Verdict

Sauté comes out best on official figures in this seller but was easily picked off by Forty Thirty in a less-competitive affair at Stratford last month and, taking into account their respective jockeys' claims, has to give 12lb to STAGE ACCLAIM. Richard Newland's gelding alternates between hurdles and fences nowadays but won easily in this grade over the smaller obstacles over C&D in June and can reverse recent running over 2m5f at Huntingdon with Nether Stream dropping back in distance. Plenty Pocket has become unreliable while Goodwood Starlight and American Art have a bit to find at the weights and the latter is proving hard to win with.
