Verdict

This looks an ideal opportunity for GREMLIN to break his duck over hurdles ahead of Decent Lord and Life Long. The selection was beaten favourite on its last start but was turned over by a horse who cost £180,000. The horse who beat him may now be finding his feet so the form could be decent in the future. Gremlin had a rating of 87 on the flat so he as plenty of ability and this race is really at his mercy. Decent Lord was another beaten favourite on his last start but showed plenty of ability in bumpers and must be monitored today. Life Long stopped quickly at Towcester on his last start but he is not the first horse to do so on that demanding track. He is better judged on his second last run where he beat a decent horse who has since franked the formed. I Can Run Can You represents a top stable with a good jockey on board so keep an eye on him. He was backed early doors on his first start but the well bred son of Old Vic didn't jump well at all. However, all of the above will do well to beat Gremlin.
