Verdict

BABE HEFFRON is readily preferred to Aheadofhistime and Russian Invader. Tom George's charge may have been handed a 17lb rise for his comfortable success at Lingfield but he won that race with any amount in hand and has been found a suitable opportunity to follow up. Aheadofhistime has only gone up by 12lbs for winning twice but that looks fair enough given the strength in depth of the contests that he's been winning. He should be competitive here but could have trouble containing the challenge of a progressive rival. There's little to get excited about with the remainder but Russian Invader is unexposed in this sphere and may prove capable of better. He'll certainly need to do better if he's going to match strides with Babe Heffron.
