Verdict

CHEAP AS CHIPS provided a real shock over hurdles at Clonmel last month, leading all the way and coming home an easy winner. Not surprisingly she's gone up 10lb so connections are taking advantage of her lower chase rating and has to be the selection in the hope of a repeat. Magnetic Force has some decent form over timber but needs better ground and has a long absence to overcome. Matsukaze was in the process of running his best race for some time when falling at the second last at Thurles, a race in which El Mondo finished fourth without unduly threatening the leaders.
