Lancer Scott ran better at Chepstow last time before unseating his rider at the last and David Pipe's gelding has to be respected racing off the same mark today but a better bet looks to be KINKEEL, who gets the verdict over Glimmer of Light. The last mentioned is strictly held by the selection on running at Hereford last time but he has claims on earlier form so cannot be discounted. Martin Keighley's Poliglotti ran better over course and distance last time and has slipped to a fair mark. Lescer's Lad has been well held in recent starts, while Shampers has given little sign of encouragement of late and a better bet looks to be Kinkeel. Tony Carroll's gelding disappointed at Warwick last time but earlier form when winning at Hereford is solid and he looks worth chancing in the hope that he can run up to that level again.
