In depth

Verdict

Already placed in a point-to-point, Loose Chips should improve now switched to hurdles after a couple of promising efforts in bumpers. Theodore Lamb is probably better than he showed at Huntingdon while there may also be more to come from Chepstow fifth Gores Island. True Blue was a hot favourite on his hurdles bow at Taunton last month but finished tailed off and it's difficult to see him improving enough to trouble JOHNS SPIRIT, despite the weight concession. Jonjo O'Neill's four-year-old would almost certainly have landed a handicap at Bangor last month had he not stumbled after jumping the last and this is a lot less competitive.
