In depth

Verdict

BAILE ANRAI had decent form over hurdles and was quite highly tried on his debut over fences at Wincanton. He was beaten when falling but better can be expected from Ian Williams' seven-year-old, who has already won between the flags and is a leading contender in this. Battle Group also warrants respect as he was also useful over timber and clear of the remainder when chasing home Fists Of Fury at Wetherby, though he doesn't look an easy ride. Carabinier must improve on a very modest first effort over fences at Newbury however.
