Stakes should probably be kept to a minimum in this finale as, having been pulled up four times in succession in point-to-points, the mare Patience Muffet is unlikely to prove one of Nicky Henderson's stable stars. Winning pointer Ontheslate was third at Market Rasen on his debut under Rules and Sweet Prince showed promise when fifth at Huntingdon but we'll give ERNIE the opportunity to go one better than when runner-up over C&D 11 days ago. Buddy Love may be the pick of the newcomers.
