    Verdict

Former pointer Doctor Ric got off the mark under Rules with an all-the-way success at Fontwell earlier this month. Front-running tactics are more difficult to enforce here, however, and he may also be too close in the weights to AMUSE ME. It was no surprise to see Jonjo O'Neill's grey bounce back to winning ways at Newton Abbot on fast ground on Monday and he may be capable of defying his penalty in this. Glen Countess won over hurdles at Warwick earlier this month but her best form is on a softer surface and Haar and Olympian Boy may struggle to give weight to in-form rivals.
