Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A nightmare for punters to finish with here and the reluctant vote goes to recent winner Shamrock Bay ahead of Macreater and Lady Suffragette. The selection won well at Market Rasen in March and having been kept fit on the all-weather since that run, Johnny Farrelly's mount looks worth siding with once again. He will appreciate any rain that comes but he is effective on good ground and should go well despite an 8lb rise in the weights. Lady Suffragette hasn't finished out of the first three in her three runs to date and whilst those runs in novice company weren't electric, she could be involved today off this mark of 79. Classi Maureen can go well from out of the handicap if able to put her poor last run behind her, whilst Macreater's last win came in a poor seller but at least she has won around this track before. Judy The Drinker has place claims once again from an in-form stable and should be watched in the market for support, however Shamrock Bay is in good form and gets the nod.
