Verdict

BRUNTON BLUE took a while to master the front-running Grimley Girl at Fakenham two weeks ago but was well on top at the finish and this much stiffer track should suit. Lucy Wadham's mare can defy a further 8lb rise in the weights and complete her hat-trick. Ruby Crown looks a light of former days while Flash Harriet is a long-standing maiden who disappointed at Uttoxeter last time. Starlet Mandy is also becoming expensive to follow and On The Off Chance would need to improve dramatically for the fitting of blinkers to take a hand in the finish.
