In depth

Verdict

Garryleigh was entered at Newton Abbot yesterday and probably wouldn't line up here if fulfilling that engagement. In any case, we prefer TWELVE ROSES who was only beaten a neck by Wild Card over 2m here last month. A return to a longer trip should see him get off the mark today, though Union Du Chenet will be a danger if building again on his third over this distance at Newbury. Westaway may do better when tackling fences but Neston Grace has won a couple of fast-ground bumpers, though may not have been done any favours by recent rain.
