Previous winning form at this track is always a plus so Jolly Boys Outing and Overton Lad are both worth a second look, though the latter has shown little enthusiasm so far this season. Shernaz has been in good form lately and is chasing a hat-trick after recent wins at Tramore and Plumpton, while Timpo was more like his old self when runner-up at Warwick earlier this month. Orion Star may have had enough for the time being, however, and is conceding almost a stone to WITCH'S HAT. Jim Old's gelding wasn't beaten far off a higher mark at Leicester in January and will be all the better for a recent run at Lingfield. Still unexposed, he gets the nod.
