Chevy To The Levy ran his best race over hurdles so far when encountering fast ground for the first time when chasing home Herons Well at Newton Abbot earlier this month and he has to be respected but preference is for Indian Pipe Dream, who gets the vote with Ballygulleen rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was a shade disappointing at Hereford at the beginning of the month but is better than that and the faster ground today should help David Pipe's gelding as he handled it perfectly well on the flat. David Wintle's Krakatau was nothing out of the ordinary on the level but has to be of some interest on his hurdling debut, while Midnight Spirit ran creditably when a close second in a handicap here last week but is likely to find this tougher. Bob Buckler's Irish import Ballygulleen has been performing well in point-to-points of late and has to be considered but Indian Pipe Dream has solid claims and he is preferred.
