Verdict

Massena finished more than seven lengths ahead of ROBERTO PEGASUS when second at Taunton last month but there's a good chance that Alan King's charge, who was a well-backed favourite that day, will reverse the form on this stiffer track and he gets the nod. Stiff Upper Lip is only a four-year-old but his penalty means he has to concede weight all round and that may prove beyond the Newbury winner. Broadway Symphony has been running well over longer trips and could have this run to suit so can't be ignored.
