In depth

Verdict

Chebsey Beau has yet to finish out of the frame over hurdles and ran his best race so far in a novices' handicap at Carlisle last month. It will be a surprise if he can't pick up a minor contest this summer. Mercers Court was touched off over a similar trip at Fontwell last time and should also be thereabouts but MONT ROYALE has more scope than either of the aforementioned pair. He makes his hurdling debut today but looked a nice prospect in bumpers and the extra yardage should be in his favour. Back on good ground, the mare All Riled Up is preferred to the exposed Tracking Time of the others.
