    Verdict

Red Jester has been unlucky not to get his head in front over shorter trips of late and can figure if having the stamina, but ETHIOPIA makes more appeal. He's been raised 9lb after landing a double at Chepstow and Plumpton last month but stays the trip, handles fast ground and was a clear winner last time. Gerrard showed signs of a return to form at Kempton in March and the veteran is not out of this, while both Gentleman Jimmy and Overton Lad finished runner-up on their latest starts and are others to consider.
