Verdict

Take The Crown won here and at Chepstow before finishing third at Exeter. Bold Adventure wasn't beaten far at Uttoxeter in March and Lost In Newyork was second at Warwick, though is still 8lb higher than when scoring at Leicester in December. Sparville has won off a higher mark over fences but was beaten a long way when third at Ludlow after a lay-off. HOMER RUN may just have needed his latest run at Kempton but wasn't disgraced and this is a significant drop in grade. He still looks fairly treated and can defy top weight as Tealissio is hard to catch right, as is Shadarpour.
