Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won four of the last eight, the last three of them with long odds-on chances. HAIL THE HERO will be a short price here after his narrow defeat by Vert De Grece at Leopardstown and the winner did the form no harm when less than a length behind Ballydoyle's promising Gleneagles in a Curragh Group 2 at the weekend. The 520,000gns son of Galileo should start paying his way here though Dunquin will ensure he has a test. Jim Bolger's charge produced a promising debut over 6f at the Curragh then found a mile just taxing his stamina when third to John F Kennedy back there earlier this month. Amerikos wasn't fancied on his debut here last month but caught the eye with a promising effort and Fragile Earth showed good pace for a long way at the Curragh though will probably need another run. Dermot Weld introduces the Azamour colt Zafilani, who is out of a winning miler and he's one to keep an eye on.
