Verdict

The three-year-old Sassy But Classy faces a stiff task against her elders though she was a consistent juvenile and will enjoy the fast ground. Calm Bay won three times last summer but shot up the weights as a consequence and was unable to cope in his final two starts. SASSAWAY hasn't won since 2013 but she's been performing with credit and the assessor has given her a real chance so she's handed the vote. Little Sweetheart went up a massive 14lb for her victory on fast ground at Down Royal and her later runs were on soft going. Battleoftheboyne is a rare winner these days and appears to need softer conditions.
