Verdict

Aidan O'Brien had a massive entry at the early stage and relies on newcomer Lungarno Palace, by Henrythenavigator and the first foal of a winner in the USA, and Joseph's mount ORCHESTRA. The latter couldn't handle the very impressive Free Eagle on his debut at Leopardstown a week ago but time may tell he was taking on something special and compensation awaits. Bogardus made a very encouraging debut behind Friendship at Leopardstown and, though beaten a long way, will have learned plenty from the experience. Johnny Murtagh's newcomer Marital, an expensive son of Montjeu, could prove best of the remainder.
