There were some burnt fingers when UNIC DE BERSY fell at the fourth-last at Fairyhouse as he started long odds-on after his close scond to The Job Is Right at Clonmel in November worked out well. A successful point-to-pointer and bumper, he should get back to winning ways. The Gatechecker has also scored between the flags and landed a bumper and started odds-on for his hurdling debut at Limerick last month. But he looked very one-paced and was beaten a long way. Rare Legend was having his first start since January of last year when well beaten at Cork a couple of weeks ago and may need another run.
