In depth

Verdict

Take A Shot has started favourite for similar events at Naas and Sligo on his two latest runs but failed to fire in either. Fairly Definite looks a little high in the weights on what she's shown to date while Elcanos is a massive 19lb higher than when scoring at Fairyhouse in January. Stonehatchetmad showed a little improvement at Ballinrobe but is still a maiden after 11 starts over timber while Lady Luselle is tried in blinkers after nine unsuccessful attempts over hurdles. Winning bumper JEWEL IN THE SUN has had just five runs over hurdles and has been steadily progressive. He hasn't been seen since November but Charlie Swan should have him ready and he can take this at a fair price.
