Verdict

There's no denying the chance of TREACY HOTELS BOY here despite the big field. Henry De Bromhead's charge was making his hurdling debut when coming with a strong late burst at Tramore only to just be denied by Time Please. Further progress looks guaranteed and he should prove too good for Popmurphy, who ran poorly on his return from a break at Fairyhouse and has to concede 8lb for a victory on the Flat in 2009. Danequest has come up against some smart opposition over timber but doesn't appear to have progressed and a bigger threat may emerge from Green Dragon, who was having his first start for Tony Martin at Wexford last month after showing promise on the Flat in France.
