Despite several fine efforts, September Lily is still a maiden and a rare runner over the minimum trip, though she's very well handicapped at her best. The Hamptons is a regular over hurdles and it's difficult to imagine him having the pace for this while Sassaway hasn't run over the minimum for a very long time and is still a maiden after 37 starts. COOKIE CRUMBLES is only moderate but acts on soft ground and won't mind dropping down in distance so she gets the nod in a tricky event. Malicious Intent hasn't had much racing for his age but there have been signs that he's ready to win soon from this sort of mark.
