Verdict

After her close second to Coldstonesober at Galway last month, Dazzling Suzie has been well beaten at Grade 2 level and in a tough Cork handicap on Sunday. She'll need to bounce back from that and the concession of 4lb to DOWN ACE may prove beyond her. Noel Meade's mare was in tremendous form last year and completed a six-timer in a point-to-point, two bumpers and over hurdles including a Listed event. She's related to several winning jumpers and could be an exciting prospect over fences. Our Ned scored between the flags in April and on her chasing debut at Limerick in July but hasn't run well in her last two starts and the remainder will all need to raise their game to get involved.
