Verdict

Getting Late made a decent start over timber on this track in January and attracted support at Punchestown last month but didn't show any real improvement. Alisier D'Irlande won a point-to-point last April and went for an astonishing £300,000 at the Cheltenham Sales later that month. He was sent to Philip Hobbs and made a promising debut at Ascot in November but was then well beaten in Grade 2 company at Warwick in January and has been moved to Henry De Bromhead. He's still only five so there's hope for him yet but FRANKIE BALLOU is the form pick. He'd been gradually making progress before a narrow defeat by Westerner Point at Clonmel a fortnight ago and the winner scored at Wexford on Tuesday. Shes A Gangster has shown a bit of promise in bumpers and has a smart pedigree for jumping so she's one to keep an eye on.
