In depth

Verdict

Dare To Doubt never got competitive on her chasing bow in a Grade 3 here last month but jumped soundly in the main and will almost certainly improve for the experience. She was the best of these over hurdles so will be fancied to open her account over the larger obstacles but this trip on heavy ground may stretch her stamina so we'll take on the likely market leader with ASK ME SISTER. Sean Osborne's mare is closely matched with Lonesome Dove on a couple of pieces of form but she ran well over hurdles last time whereas Charlie Swan's charge was a spent force when she fell at Cork last month and is a little more exposed. Ballinahow Lady and Definite Class could go close if recapturing their best form but both have rather gone off the boil lately and more interesting is Carrigeen Lechuga, who was a prolific winner between the flags and has shown signs of finally finding her feet under Rules lately.
