In depth

Verdict

GAGEWELL FLYER won Grade 2 contest over hurdles at Naas and Punchestown around this time last year. He hasn't raced for nine months but, being from the same family as Watson Lake, will almost certainly relish the switch to fences and should be another winner for the in-form Willie Mullins team. The mare Mayo Mystique has her sights lowered after contesting Grade 3 events here and at Cork and she looks the best of those with previous chase experience, though Philip Rothwell also runs Spring Wine, who won over hurdles at Tramore last month. Arthur Moore is another trainer with more than one string to his bow but Duomo Di Milano failed to sparkle in four runs over timber while Fever Pitch hasn't shown much over the larger obstacles so far.
