In depth

Verdict

Several of these have been chasing and are much better handicapped over timber. They include Oscar Hill, who won in a canter at Musselburgh and is 18lb lower over fences but his tendency to run out suggests he's not one to take a short price about. Beckwith Star made all for a very impressive victory over the bigger obstacles at Tramore and is a big threat to all back over timber on a 16lb lower mark while Benalma is another successful chaser racing from a massive 25lb lower over hurdles. Sorted had been going quite well over timber before disappointing at Naas and should do better but Nina Carberry's mount OWENNACURRA MILAN looks the one to be on. He didn't stay 2m6f here last time but travelled well for much of the race and, with a strong gallop assured, can outpace his main rivals from the last and take this.
