In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins won this a year ago and will be expecting a big run from Bold Banks, who has come late to racing but is gradually improving and was staying on strongly behind Lamb Or Cod here three weeks ago. He looks set for a place at least but will find KING OF THE REFS a very powerful rival. Tony Martin's charge, a winning point-to-pointer and an entry in the four-mile National Hunt Chase at The Festival, has been performing over much longer trips so it's a surprise to see him over the minimum but his overall form gives him the edge. Fourth Class has been chasing and looks another who could do with further and the remainder have been struggling for form.
