SIMPLE JIM makes appeal in a competitive heat off the bottom rung. He scored here a year ago and this is the first time he's raced over the same trip since. He met trouble in running when staying on late at Pontefract last Sunday, only beaten half a length, and Jimmy Quinn is a good booking. Golden Future and Beat The Shower give Peter Niven a fair hand, likewise Puy D'Arnac and Capable Guest for George Moore. Los Nadis gives weight away all round but comes here in good form and should go well, as should the consistent but luckless Hallstatt who seems sure to get on the scoreboard sooner or later.
